Onboarding Information: Quiz responses used solely to personalize your local experience.
Premium Subscription Data: Handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

In-App: We do NOT automatically collect device identifiers, IP addresses, location data, usage analytics, or crash reports within the mobile application.

On the Website: We use Google Analytics to collect basic, non-identifiable usage metrics (such as page views and button clicks) to help us improve our service. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your personal sleep and habit data is used solely to provide the App's functionality:

Displaying logs and calculating statistics/streaks.
Generating visualizations (heatmaps, charts, grids).
Syncing data across your devices (if iCloud sync is enabled).

We do NOT use your personal sleep information for marketing or targeted advertising.

3. How We Store Your Information

3.1 Local Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure Core Data framework. It is protected by your device passcode and biometric authentication.

3.2 iCloud Storage (Optional)

If enabled, your data syncs to your private iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. Limited sharing only occurs via the Apple App Store for payment processing or if you manually initiate a data export.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access: You can view all your data at any time inside the app.
Delete: You can delete individual logs or use "Delete All Data" in Settings to wipe everything.

6. Children's Privacy

SleepGrids is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. International Data Transfers

If you use iCloud sync or visit our website, your data may be processed through servers provided by Apple or Google, which comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.

8. California & European Privacy Rights (CCPA/GDPR)

We respect your rights to access, rectify, and erase your data. Since all sleep data is stored on your device or your personal iCloud, you have full control over these rights directly within the App.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The SleepGrids website uses cookies via Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. These cookies collect information such as your browser type and which pages you visit. You can choose to disable cookies in your browser settings. The SleepGrids mobile app does not use cookies or tracking technologies.
